🌍 Learning Hubs — Where School Comes to Life
In September 2024, NYsKOOL proudly opened two vibrant Learning Hubs for in-person learning — located in Poblenou (Barcelona) and Campolide (Lisbon).
By September 2026, our network will expand further, with new hubs being set up for Setúbal, Algarve and Estoril (Portugal), as well as Gava Mar (Spain).

A Day of Discovery and Connection
Each day at a NYsKOOL Hub is filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Students take part in engaging projects, experiments, and group challenges — from building rockets and ecosystems to debating real-world issues and designing creative solutions.
There’s also plenty of time outdoors — exploring nature, playing sports, and socialising with friends.
This balance of academics, creativity, and physical activity keeps children curious, confident, and happy to learn.
Global Collaboration
Our hubs are globally connected.
Children collaborate virtually with peers from other NYsKOOL hubs around the world — exchanging ideas, sharing projects, and learning from different cultures.
It’s a truly international education that helps them see the world from many perspectives.
Flexible and Family-Friendly
We understand that every family’s routine is unique.
Children can be dropped off or collected at flexible times throughout the day, with periods dedicated to both group projects and individual learning supported by NYsKOOL teachers.

Sample Day Schedule at the Hub
Lisbon Learning Hub
Our Lisbon Learning Hub is centrally located near NOVA University, surrounded by green spaces and just a short walk from Jardim da Amnistia Internacional, Jardim Amália Rodrigues, and nearby sports facilities. Students enjoy outdoor play and sports every day, combining learning with movement and fresh air. Inside, the space is designed to spark curiosity and collaboration, with shared project tables, quiet study areas, a small library, and the energy room. Parents can make use of our on-site co-working area for a small fee or volunteer in classrooms — creating a close-knit, supportive community where families and students thrive together.
Barcelona Learning Hub
Our Poblenou Learning Hub is just 100 meters from the vibrant Poblenou Central Park, where students enjoy daily access to sports facilities and playgrounds. The hub itself was designed in collaboration with our students, featuring flexible zones inspired by modern co-working spaces and a professional gymnastics mat for active play and movement breaks. It’s a creative, energetic environment where children feel ownership of their space and learn through both collaboration and exploration.
Estoril Learning Hub
We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with Educação Popular to bring the NYsKOOL English-language programme to their beautiful historic campus in São João do Estoril — a former monastery full of charm and character overlooking the ocean.
Starting September 2026, children aged 5–10 can join a unique bilingual programme featuring:

✨ English and Portuguese language immersion
✨ Project-based learning and hands-on activities
✨ Full access to the Estoril campus facilities
Families in the Estoril/Cascais area can now enjoy the innovation and flexibility of NYsKOOL combined with the heritage and community spirit of Educação Popular.

Gava Mar Learning Hub
The NYsKOOL Gava Mar Learning Hub is set within walking distance from the beach in a territory covered with pine trees. The space offers a unique, nature-filled environment where children can learn, play and explore.
The secure, gated space provides a safe setting for children to move around freely, with access to several playgrounds, sports facilities and a large swimming pool. With direct access to the beach, outdoor time becomes a natural part of each day.
There is also an on-site restaurant where children can enjoy a variety of lunch options to suit their preferences.
Nature-Based Algarve Learning Hub
In partnership with Franziska, we are launching a unique nature-based Learning Hub, where children will grow plants, care for animals, and take part in hands-on, nature-inspired projects. It’s a setting designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and a genuine connection with the world around them.
Alongside this, NYsKOOL will deliver its innovative, child-centred education - combining the academic rigour of the enhanced U.S. curriculum with Finnish methodology. Our approach focuses on life skills, happiness, and project-based learning, while ensuring each child reaches their full academic potential.
The Algarve Learning Hub is scheduled to open in September 2026, with places limited to 25 students aged 5 to 13.
To celebrate the launch, we are offering a 50% discount for the first 6 students enrolled before 15 May.
